We all made it safely back to Tampa this evening and are slowly readjusting to home. We’ll spend the next few days sorting through our pictures and share them with you soon!

Today, Haden made the trip into North Carolina. His first stop was at Kitty Hawk to see the historic site where the Wright Brothers changed the world in 1903.

Next, he took Mom and Dad for a hike up a set of huge sand dunes next to the ocean and then decided to spend the night in the shadow of the famous Cape Hatteras Lighthouse (which he’ll climb tomorrow).

We’re sorry we’re not posting the pics from our trip - we promise we’ll share tons of them when we return home. Free internet is not always fast!

Haden knocked out Maryland and Virginia today.

Haden knocked out Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware this weekend.

Haden took us on a tour of Philly on Saturday - and provided us with a little history lesson.

First up was Independence Hall and ‘The Bell’.

Next, Haden absolutely had to try one Philly Steak from each of the contested inventors of the sandwich.

Haden is in Philly this weekend - we’ll post some picts once we get some solid internet.

Haden made a quick (33 hour) trip to Kansas City for a family wedding.

We realize that we haven’t posted many pictures lately, so we thought we’d try to make up for it a little. Here’s what Haden’s been up to the last few days:

Haden got a new toy on Saturday - a big tube! He loves to race through it, lay inside and roll around, and push his cars through it. But the most fun seems to be when Dad crawls through it, too!

On a side note, Haden’s latest trick is giving kisses on the cheek! All you have to do is request one, and he readily provides 2 full-on kisses - one on each cheek.

Haden loves the shark on this PJ shirt. In particular, he likes the teeth (they’re a little bumpy); he always has to talk about the shark’s teeth, then his teeth, and then Mama’s teeth when he gets ready for bed at night.
